This oversized annual report highlights the unique health-care plights of just four small populations in this culturally diverse state: the urban homeless, uninsured women with breast cancer, migrant farm workers, and Native Americans. A poignant message is clear: there is no single approach that can help everyone. This report promotes the community-by-community approach favored by the endowment.
